Refund Policy

Ink Spot produces custom work to approved specifications. This policy explains when cancellations, rework, credits, and refunds may apply.

Custom Order Standard

Most Ink Spot work is custom production, including embroidery, apparel decoration, 3D printed parts, proofing, and made-to-order project work. Because production is tailored to each request, refunds are handled differently from standard retail returns.

Orders are reviewed against the approved proof, specs, placement notes, materials, and finishing instructions associated with the job.

Before Production Starts

If you need to cancel before proof approval or before production begins, contact us as soon as possible. If no irreversible production work has started, we may cancel the order and issue a refund minus any non-recoverable setup, design, sampling, or digitizing costs already incurred.

After Proof Approval

Once a proof is approved and production has started, the order is generally non-refundable because materials, machine time, labor, and setup have been committed specifically to your project.

If a production issue is caused by Ink Spot and the finished work does not materially match the approved proof or written specifications, we will review the order and may choose to rework, replace, credit, or partially refund the affected portion.

Issues Eligible for Review

If something is wrong, notify us promptly so we can evaluate the issue while order details are still current.

  • Incorrect item, quantity, or decoration method supplied by us
  • Material deviation from the approved proof or written production instructions
  • Visible production defects attributable to our process
  • Damage caused before delivery or during pack-out under our control

Issues Not Eligible for Refund

The following do not usually qualify for a refund when production followed the approved proof and provided specifications.

  • Minor variation customary in decorated apparel or batch manufacturing
  • Customer-supplied artwork issues, spelling mistakes, or approval errors accepted in the final proof
  • Sizing, fit, or garment preference issues outside the approved order details
  • Carrier delays, missed delivery estimates, or problems caused by incorrect shipping information supplied by the customer

How to Request Review

Please contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery at prakash@ink-spot.co or 877-657-7770 with your order name, the issue observed, and supporting photos where applicable.

We may ask that affected goods remain unused and available for inspection before we determine the appropriate resolution.
